Terms of Service
Last updated: March 31, 2026
Agreement
By using DinnerTable ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
What DinnerTable Does
DinnerTable generates weekly meal plans, grocery lists, and cooking guidance tailored to your family's dietary needs, preferences, and allergen safety requirements. The App is a planning tool, not a medical or nutritional advisory service.
Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- One account manages one household. Family members are added by the account holder.
- You may invite other adults to join your household via invite link. You are responsible for who you invite.
Allergen Safety Disclaimer
DinnerTable uses dietary condition data you provide to filter recipes and flag allergens. We take allergy safety seriously and apply strict filtering logic, but:
- The App is not a substitute for medical advice. Always consult your allergist or physician about dietary restrictions.
- You are responsible for verifying ingredient safety before preparing any meal, especially for family members with anaphylactic or severe allergies.
- Recipe data may contain errors. Ingredient lists are maintained with care but are not guaranteed to be exhaustive. Cross-contamination risks at the grocery store or in your kitchen are outside the App's control.
- DinnerTable is not liable for allergic reactions or adverse health events resulting from meals prepared using the App.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the App's recipe database.
- Use the App for any commercial food service or resale purpose.
- Attempt to access another household's data.
- Abuse the invite system to create spam accounts.
Your Content
Feedback, ratings, and custom recipe modifications you submit remain yours. By submitting them, you grant DinnerTable a license to use this data to improve meal plan recommendations for your household. We do not share your content with other users unless you explicitly choose to (e.g., sharing a recipe).
Availability
We aim to keep DinnerTable available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App includes offline support for confirmed meal plans, but syncing requires an internet connection.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period.
Limitation of Liability
DinnerTable is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DinnerTable and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
