Method

    Preheat your waffle iron. Whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.

    In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.

    Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir until just combined. A few lumps are fine.

    Spray waffle iron. Pour batter per your iron instructions. Cook until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per waffle.

    Keep waffles warm in a 200F oven on a wire rack while you finish batches. Set out toppings and let everyone build their own.
