Ingredients
- Penne Pasta16 oz
- Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, diced1 lb
- Bacon6 slices
- Butter2 tbsp
- All-Purpose Flour2 tbsp
- Whole Milk1 1/2 cups
- Chicken Broth1/2 cup
- Ranch Seasoning Mix1 packet (1 oz)
- Mozzarella Cheese, shredded2 cups
Method

Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook penne in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain.

Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy. Transfer to paper towels and crumble. Reserve 1 tbsp drippings.

Season diced chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in the reserved drippings over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through, about 6 minutes. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and chicken broth. Cook until thickened, about 4 minutes. Stir in ranch seasoning mix.

Remove from heat. Stir in half the mozzarella. Fold in pasta, chicken, and half the bacon.

Transfer to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella and bacon. Bake 20 minutes until bubbly. Let rest 5 minutes.
