- Brioche or Challah Bread1 loaf (about 12 oz), cut into 1-inch cubes
- Eggs5 large
- Whole Milk1 1/2 cups
- Heavy Cream1/2 cup
- Granulated Sugar1/3 cup
- Vanilla Extract1 1/2 tsp
- Cinnamon1 tsp
- Maple Syrup1/2 cup, for serving
Method

Grease a 9x13 baking dish. Cut brioche or challah into 1-inch cubes and spread evenly in the dish.

Whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl.

Pour the custard mixture evenly over the bread. Press bread gently to help it absorb.
