Ingredients

  • Salmon Fillet, Skin-on (whole or Large Pieces)2 lbs
  • Cedar Grilling Plank (soaked 2 Hours)1 plank
  • Brown Sugar2 tbsp
  • Smoked Paprika1 tsp
  • Garlic Powder1/2 tsp
  • Dijon Mustard1 tbsp
  • Lemon1 large, sliced thin
  • Fresh Dill or Thyme3 sprigs

Method

  1. 01

    Soak cedar plank in water 2 hours. Preheat grill to medium-high (400°F).

    Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Brush salmon with mustard, then press spice mixture onto flesh side.

    Place cedar plank on grill 3–4 minutes until it starts smoking. Flip plank.

    Lay lemon slices and herbs on plank. Place salmon skin-side down on top. Close lid.

    Grill 12–15 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork. Do not flip. Serve directly from the plank.
