Homemade Sloppy Joes

Ground beef cooked with onion, bell pepper, tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire, and brown sugar until thick and savory. This is the from-scratch version that takes 25 minutes and tastes better than any can. The sauce is sweet, tangy, and slightly smoky. Served on toasted buns, it's one of the most beloved weeknight dinners for families with kids.
