Ingredients

  • Smoked Sausage or Kielbasa14 oz (1 link)
  • Green Cabbage, cored and sliced 1/2-inch1/2 medium head
  • Yellow Onion, sliced1 large
  • Garlic3 cloves, minced
  • Chicken Broth1/4 cup
  • Apple Cider Vinegar1 tbsp

Method

  1. 01

    Slice sausage into 1/2-inch rounds on the bias.

    In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook sausage 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove to a plate.

    In the same pan, cook onion 3 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.

    Add cabbage and chicken broth. Season with salt and pepper. Stir and cover. Cook 8-10 minutes, stirring once, until cabbage is tender.

    Return sausage to the pan. Add apple cider vinegar. Stir and cook 1 more minute.

    Taste for seasoning. Serve directly from the pan.
