- Large Shrimp (peeled)1 lb
- Andouille Sausage6 oz
- Stone-Ground Grits1 cup
- Sharp Cheddar Cheese1/2 cup
- Chicken Broth3 cups
- Butter2 tbsp
- Garlic Cloves3 cloves
- Cajun Seasoning1 tsp
- Scallions (optional)3 stalks
Method
- 01
Cook grits in chicken broth with butter until thick and creamy, about 20 minutes. Stir in cheddar cheese.

While grits cook, sauté sliced andouille sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, cook shrimp with garlic and Cajun seasoning until pink, about 3 minutes per side.

Add sausage back to the pan with a splash of chicken broth and lemon juice. Scrape up browned bits.

Spoon creamy grits into bowls. Top with shrimp, sausage, and pan sauce. Garnish with scallions.
