Ingredients
- Elbow Macaroni1 lb
- Sharp Cheddar Cheese, freshly shredded2 cups
- Cream Cheese2 oz
- Evaporated Milk1 can (12 oz)
- Butter2 tbsp
- Dry Mustard Powder1/2 tsp
- Garlic Powder1/4 tsp
Method

Bring 4 cups of water and 1 tsp salt to a boil in a large skillet. Add macaroni and cook until just al dente, about 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Leave a little water in the pan.

Reduce heat to low. Add butter and stir until melted.

Pour in evaporated milk, mustard powder, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.

Add shredded cheddar and cream cheese in three additions, stirring each time until fully melted before adding more.

Keep over very low heat 2-3 minutes, stirring, until sauce thickens and coats the pasta.

Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately; the sauce thickens as it sits.
