Snack Plate Dinner

A spread of deli meat, cheese, grapes, crackers, veggies and hummus, and hard-boiled eggs arranged on a board or plates. No cooking, no stress, complete nutrition. This is a legitimate dinner that families eat once a week in summer and on nights when no one has the energy. It also happens to be one of the best formats for getting kids to eat vegetables.

  • Kid-friendly

Parent noteThe no-pressure arrangement of snack foods is one of the best ways to get kids to eat a range of foods. They feel in control and typically eat more than they would from a plated meal. Adjust for allergens as needed; this format is completely flexible.

Chips reflect this recipe's curated tags, not an ingredient-by-ingredient allergen scan. The app tags every ingredient against the top-9 allergens and filters your family's weekly plan by severity — check labels if an allergy is severe.
